Refund & Return Policy

We want you to feel completely at home in every piece you buy from House of Ceylan. If something doesn't work, we're here to make it right.

Return Window

You can return your order within 30 days of receiving it.

Order Cancellation

  • You can cancel your order free of charge within 12 hours of placing it by emailing support@houseofceylan.com.

  • After 12 hours, the order may already be in our fulfillment queue and cannot be cancelled, but you can return it once it arrives.

What Condition Must the Item Be In?

  • The item must be unworn, unused, in its original packaging, with all tags attached.

  • Items that have been worn, used, or are missing their tags or packaging cannot be returned.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Personalized or custom-made products

  • Items marked as final sale

  • Gift cards

  • Items in non-original condition

⚠️ Hygiene Note: For hygiene reasons, intimate apparel and similar items cannot be returned once any seal has been broken.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your item arrived damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order at support@houseofceylan.com with photos of the damage and the packaging.

  • We will send a free replacement or issue a full refund.

  • No restocking fee, no return shipping cost on your end.

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

  • Change-of-mind returns: Return shipping costs are paid by the customer. Estimated return shipping is between $8 and $15 depending on your location.

  • Damaged, defective, or incorrect items: If your item arrived damaged/defective, or if we sent the wrong item, we cover the full return shipping cost.

Are There Restocking Fees?

A 20% restocking fee applies to standard returns. The fee is calculated on the original product price (excluding shipping) and is deducted from your refund.

The restocking fee does NOT apply if:

  • The item arrived damaged or defective.

  • We shipped you the wrong item.

  • The item materially differs from its product description.

Example: If you return a $65 item, your refund will be $52 ($65 minus the 20% restocking fee), and you cover return shipping.

How to Start a Return

  1. Email support@houseofceylan.com with your order number and the reason for the return.

  2. We will send you the official return instructions and the return address.

  3. Please do not send items back without prior approval, as unauthorized returns cannot be accepted.

How Long Does a Refund Take?

Once we receive and inspect your return, the entire refund process including our inspection and your bank's processing time takes up to 10 business days to appear on your original payment method statement.

Partial Refunds

In some cases, a partial refund may be granted (for example, when an item is returned with minor signs of use or with missing original packaging). We will always contact you before processing a partial refund.

European Union 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

If you are shipping to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason without justification. As with all returns, the item must be unused, with tags attached, and in its original packaging, with proof of purchase.
